Return & Refund Policy – Edible Cake Canada

At Edible Cake Canada, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

Edible & Custom Printed Products – No Returns Accepted 

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on edible items. All edible cake toppers, frosting sheets, wafer sheets, and chocolate transfer sheets are consumable products and cannot be restocked or resold once shipped.

Additionally, all of our products are custom-made and personalized to your specifications — including custom printed frosting sheets, wafer paper cake toppers, and chocolate transfer sheets. Because each order is uniquely created for you, these items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders We take great care in packaging every order to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. However, if your edible cake topper or custom printed product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error on our part, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • A clear photo of the damaged or incorrect item
  • Your order number

We will review your case promptly and offer an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or store credit.

Custom Order Design Approval Policy

For all custom orders, our design team will prepare and send digital design proofs to the client for review. Each order includes up to three (3) complimentary design revisions.

Client Responsibilities:

  • The client must review and respond to the design proof.
  • If the client does not reply, confirm, the order will be automatically cancelled and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Once the client approves the design, the order enters production and no further changes, cancellations, or refunds will be accepted.

Design Approval & Liability:

  • By confirming the design, the client takes full responsibility for the accuracy of all text, names, dates, and images submitted.
  • Edible Cake Canada is not liable for errors approved by the client (e.g., spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, low-resolution images submitted by the client).
  • Additional revisions beyond the three included are available at an extra charge.

 

Excessive Revision Policy

Each custom order includes up to three (3) complimentary design revisions. Edible Cake Canada reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.

  • In such cases, the client will be notified of the cancellation and no design or product will be produced.

We value your satisfaction, but to ensure fair and timely service for all customers, we must limit the number of revisions per order. We encourage clients to provide clear and complete design instructions at the time of ordering to minimize revision rounds.

 

No-Response Policy:

  • If we do not receive a response after two follow-up attempts, the order will be cancelled and fully refunded. 

Design Approval Responsibility All custom orders go through a digital proof approval process. Once you approve your design, we are not responsible for errors in the final printed product that were present in the approved proof (e.g., spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, or image quality issues submitted by the customer).

Copyright & Intellectual Property – Customer Responsibility 

Edible Cake Canada prints custom edible toppers based on images and content submitted by the customer. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the legal right to use, reproduce, and print any image, logo, character, artwork, or photograph they submit to us.

By placing an order with Edible Cake Canada, the customer confirms that:

  • They own the copyright to the submitted image, OR
  • They have obtained proper written permission from the copyright holder to reproduce the image, OR
  • The image is in the public domain or licensed for commercial use

Edible Cake Canada is not responsible for any copyright infringement resulting from customer-submitted images. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold Edible Cake Canada harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the unauthorized use of copyrighted material.

We reserve the right to refuse any order that we reasonably believe may infringe on third-party intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trademarked characters, celebrity images, and branded logos.
